On December 14, 2023, Obsidian Energy donated $10,000 to our Purpose, Hope & Dignity Project. This project helps to ensure that students are able to maintain a sense of purpose hope and dignity even though they might be experiencing financial difficulties at home. 

This project has ensured students do not go without basic essentials such as running shoes, winter jackets, toques and hygiene products.  Besides donations from the community, such as this one, the project is sustained by financial contributions by WRSD staff.
