Shelly Cloke Selected to be New Frank Maddock High School Principal
Wild Rose School Division is pleased to announce that current Frank Maddock High School Vice Principal, Shelly Cloke has been selected to be the new FMHS Principal for the 2017-2018 school year.
“Hiring decisions are never easy, but in my time working with Shelly, her passion for helping students and staff succeed has always been very clear,” stated Superintendent, Brad Volkman. “I am confident that Shelly is the right leader to continue guiding FMHS in a positive direction.”
Shelly has been working with WRSD for over ten years as a teacher, instructional coach and administrator. During this time Shelly has been influential in growing progressive instructional leadership and student assessment practices.
“I am excited to welcome the new grade nines into our learning community and support the new and exciting opportunities of becoming a grade 9-12 school,” stated incoming FMHS Principal, Shelly Cloke. “Along with our dedicated staff, I plan to continue to build on the foundations of personalization, mastery and relationships that we have developed as a staff and leadership team over the past three years. Gregg McNeil will be greatly missed but I have been fortunate to learn from the best and want to continue his collaborative and progressive approach to leadership.”
