On February 22, 2024 the new Powerhouse Campus in Drayton Valley hosted their grand opening. Powerhouse campus opened on January 10, 2024 as the home for Drayton Christian School and HW Pickup Middle School. The principals of HW Pickup School (Scott Kupsch) and Drayton Christian School (Terri-Lynn Emms) hosted the official ceremony. Greetings and congratulations were brought from the Minister of Children and Family Services (Searle Turton), MLA for Drayton Valley-Devon (Andrew Boitchenko) and Wild Rose School Division Board Chair (Daryl Scott). Wild Rose School Division would like to thank the Government of Alberta for providing this incredible new school building to the students and community of Drayton Valley. We would also like to thank the following companies; Stantec Architecture, Krawford Construction, Workun Garrick Partnership, SAI - Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Prostatix,  ISL Engineering and Alberta Infrastructure for their work on the design and construction of Powerhouse Campus.
