Frank Maddock High School Update
Due to a sewer back-up issue, Frank Maddock High School had no water services and students were sent home today. Later this evening our maintenance personnel, found a large root mass and were able to remove the majority of it, establishing water services to the school. After reviewing footage from the camera, WRSD maintenance, Bald Eagle Plumbing and the Town of Drayton recommend that school remain open tomorrow and Friday. Because there is minimal risk to staff and students and a very small chance of this happening again, Frank Maddock High School will be open tomorrow.
“Custodians are working hard to clean and sanitize all of the affected areas from the backup,” Stated Frank Maddock High School Principal, Gregg McNeil. “Thank you to our custodians, WRSD maintenance personnel, Bald Eagle Plumbing and the Town of Drayton Valley for their quick and professional response to this situation.”
