Evergreen Elementary Receives Big Upgrade
Wild Rose School Division is pleased to announce that students, staff and parents at Evergreen Elementary, in Drayton Valley, will soon be seeing a big change come to their school. Approval was recently received from Alberta Education for WRSD to receive four replacement modular classrooms for Evergreen Elementary.
“It’s very exciting Alberta Education has approved our request,” stated Superintendent, Brian Celli. “We now look forward to getting Evergreen students into these greatly improved learning spaces as quickly as possible.”
“I want to thank Minister Dirks, Minister of Education, for his continuing support. Receiving four replacement modular classrooms means a lot to the students, staff and parents of Evergreen Elementary School in Drayton Valley,” stated Drayton Valley-Devon MLA & Minister of Municipal Affairs, Diana McQueen.
The four modular classrooms will be replacing the existing modulars that have been in place for over sixty years. Working with Alberta Infrastructure WRSD is aiming to have them setup and ready for students by the fall of 2015.
