Construction of the Bus Hub in Drayton Valley is  estimated to be completed by early October. In order to ensure the safest and easiest transition to the new location, the most probable start date will be January 4, 2016. Wild Rose School Division has made this choice for the following reasons:

1. Bell times will need to be adjusted at some of our schools once the Bus Hub becomes operational. For the sake of our students, the best time to break them into a new routine will be following a major break in the school year like Christmas break.

2. Our transportation department will need some time to trial the use of the hub in terms of timing,route planning and other factors. which will be done over the Christmas break.

“We want everyone to know there will be a delay between completion of the construction of the Bus Hub and public usage,” stated Kristen Fries, Transportation Manager. “We need some time to test run usage of the hub so we can make this transition easy for everyone involved.
