We are pleased to announce that our plans for building a new elementary school in Condor and a new high school in Leslieville continue to move forward. The Alberta government sees these construction projects as a way to keep Alberta workers employed during these challenging times. We are currently receiving proposals from architects for the design of the two new schools as well as the demolition of the three older ones.

We are very excited and grateful for the volunteer work being done by the Friends of the Corridor Schools to raise additional funds for these projects to enhance them beyond the government’s base standards. Equally exciting is a commitment from Clearwater County to match any funds raised. The Board would like to again express their sincere appreciation to our partners in Alberta Education and Alberta Infrastructure. With the approval of these two replacement schools the Board can ensure K-12 students in the Corridor will continue to receive an excellent education in new school facilities that support 21st century learning and program delivery.
