Board Highlights - October 15, 2019
Notice of Motion
The Board Chair gave a notice of motion that at the December 17, 2019 meeting of the Board, the question of whether to close Eldorado Elementary School in accordance with this recommendation from administration, will be put to a vote. The closure would coincide with the opening of the new replacement elementary school scheduled to open January 2021.
Due to the local interest that may arise with this discussion, the December 17, 2019 regular board meeting will be held in Drayton Valley, at the Town Council Chambers.
Before and After School Care - Drayton Valley
The Student Services Coordinator presented the information and registrations she gathered as part of the last request from the Board of Trustees. The board recommended that administration continue pursuing the licensing and accreditation of this service and potentially offer the program in September, if it is determined that there is enough interest to make this viable.
