 Our local MLA’s attended the meeting to discuss funding challenges faced by the Division and  all the new legislation governing education.  Trustees shared some of the many successes Wild Rose School Division had last year.

 Policy Amendments, Terms of Reference Additions

 The Board of Trustees approved the following Terms of Reference Additions to Policy 8: 

• Audit Committee

• Finance Committee

• Policy Committee

 And the following amendment to Policy 3:

 Policy 3 - Role of The Trustee

Resilient Youth in Stressed Environments Project

 The Board of Trustees approved to support the voluntary involvement of our students in the Resilient Youth in Stressed Environments survey pending the Superintendent following the guidelines set out in Administrative Procedure 290.

 Draft School Calendar 2018-2019

 The Board of Trustees approved in principle the Draft WRSD Staff Calendar 2018-2019.  The calendar will be put out for feedback before final approval is given.
