Board Highlights - April 17, 2018
Out of Country Field Trips
The Board awarded final approval for the HW Pickup Junior High School field trip to Spokane for the annual BloomsDay run.
They also reviewed and approved the March 2019 Caroline School field trip to Costa Rica. In order to keep the trip viable, they also conditionally approved the attendance of grade 9 students on the trip. All grade 9 participants must have an approved parent or guardian on the trip with them.
The Board also heard reports from students who attended this year’s Frank Maddock field trip to Italy and Greece, and Breton’s field trip to Ireland and Scotland.
Joint Meetings
The board discussed the agendas for joint meetings that are planned with the Town of Drayton Valley and Village of Breton, as well as the Town of Rocky Mountain House, Clearwater County and Village of Caroline.
