Applications are invited for a Full Time Grade 9 / 10 English, Grade 9 Math and CALM Teacher.
Frank Maddock High School is seeking a teacher who is collaborative; emphasizes wellness, connections, and a flourishing school culture; and ensures personalized learning opportunities for all of our students in classrooms that embody Powerful Learning Environments. Frank Maddock High School is a grade 9-12 school of approximately 500 students located in
Drayton Valley, Alberta, 120 km, southwest of Edmonton. Our school's mission is to support
every student on their personal path of self-discovery in preparation for their successful future
beyond high school. Our values of Accountability, Respect, Integrity, Strength and Excellence
guide everything that we do within our school's growth mind-set; achieved through personal
professional growth, PLCs and the Collaborative Response Mindset.
A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.
The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
