A FULL TIME GRADE ONE TEACHER

For Rocky Christian School in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta

 
Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Teacher. 

Preferred candidates will have training appropriate to teach in a Christian School environment.  Preference will be given to the candidate that is enthusiastic and a lifelong learner.  Familiarity with and/or willingness to participate in the Prairie Centre for Christian Education, “Teaching for Transformation” program will be required.

Start date will be August 27, 2024.

Rocky Christian School is an alternative program in Wild Rose School Division, devoted to providing

a distinctly Christ-centred education. Rocky Christian School has approximately 160 students from
Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 and nine faculty members.

A complete package will include a cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three professional references, a pastor’s reference, a statement of Christian faith, and a statement of educational philosophy/beliefs in a single Google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
