A FULL TIME STUDENT SUPPORT FACILITATOR TEACHER

Applications are invited for a Probationary Full Time Student Support Facilitator Teacher. 

The Student Support Facilitator works with learning teams, outside therapists and agencies to provide students with the opportunity to access learning environments that are the least restrictive and most responsive.The successful candidate will be well versed in differentiation strategies and excited about learning new ways to help ALL students find success in a pre K-12 school. The Candidate should be able to work well in a collaborative environment (with therapists, outside agencies, parents, teachers and students), be able to communicate well both orally and in writing, and be curious about recent literature and strategies for increasing student learning. We are looking for a candidate who can see the potential in every student and who is able to work as a team to unlock that potential. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience. Training and or experience in inclusive education is an asset especially with a focus in Divisions 1 and 2

Start date will be August 27, 2024

Caroline School is a pre-K -12 school with approximately 380 students located in Caroline,

Alberta about 80 km southwest of Red Deer. Caroline School is a community that is focused on

continuous learning and personal growth; one that fosters opportunity and develops citizens

with the skills and values to explore and thrive in the world around them.

A complete package will include cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single Google or pdf document.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
