Organizational Board Meeting 

At the June 21 Organizational Board Meeting Drayton Valley Ward One Trustee, Russ Hickman was acclaimed as our Chairperson. Heather Molchanko was also acclaimed as the Vice Chairperson for the 2016-2017 school year. Both Russ and Heather will serve in their positions for the 2016-2017 school year. Board Approved Policies

At the May 21, 2016 Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees gave final approval for the 2016-2017 Spring Budget.

It is important to note that the WRSD 2016-2017 Spring Budget is now submitted to Alberta Education for final approval.

Delegations

Director of IT Services, Jaymon Lefebvre and Director of Instruction, Jen Deyenberg opened a privacy impact assessment dialogue with the Board of Trustees about WRSD’s decision to move more information to the cloud using Microsoft services.
